The fast emerging coffee retail chain, Coffee Culture has launched its 1st outlet on the Jamnagar highway NH-() in Gujarat. This is Coffee Culture’s 27th Outlet in India, flourishing on the ethos of ‘ Unculture Yourself’. Freshly designed and executed by Ar. AakrutiJohari of D’arc Studio, this space of 1500 sq.ft aims at creating a café that celebrates Jamnagar dipped into its cultural essence.

Uniquely valiant and smoothly concocting the cafe spaces into layers of local identity and character. The café in its true reflection branches within the habitat of boosting and focusing on overall user experience. This ingenious addition of city’s heritage and its flavours into the space allows Coffee Culture to blend into the urbane surroundings.

Coffee Culture here is designed honouring the title ‘The Brass City’ .Thriving economically with this metal, the elemental incorporation of the brass is modishly featured. Extractions of architectural traces from the Pratap Villas Palace allows the café to silently speak in European vocabularytranslating the rich heritage. Lastly Jamnagar being a base to all 3 forces: Army, Navy and Air force, a verse of the space is designed celebrating the forces.

A contemporary approach and executionon the axis of Scandinavian material palate, Coffee Culture welcomes one with French turquoise double doors and warm lamps. Crisply wainscoted and cadenced by exposed grey brick exterior, the café leads into a massive set of dining with a large governing- island coffee bar. The marble toped bar, withholds the brass structure from the ceiling, giving visuals of the delicacies prepared within.

The organic spread of the seating arrangements are roofed with brass hinted exposed services and spot lights. Ash grey tiles expanse over the floor, synthesising with the duo toned walls of walnut wood and fluted off white plaster. The café exhales of minimalist approach with the natural material integration. The designated seating material segregates the spaces defining its nature.  The subtle surroundings are rhymed by the earthen and sombre chromatic upholstery and furniture.

The café is basked into daylight multiplied by the muted wall texture and driven by the freshness of natural habitats. Radiating and reflecting comfort in an airy layout,avocado green and cinnamonpuffed seats merges with the layers of live edge wooden chairs and tables. Whereas the navy blue seats are paired with marble round tables, complimenting the surfaced walls. The altered setting of seating provides hierarchy and levels to the arrangements.

A hygge outdoor set up, is a reflexion to the army and forces. Truly in fete of military, the skeleton metal chairs and boned tables are translated into this extension of the café. Stacked Mesh sand bags enact as partitions and industrial roof structurewith bulbs justifies the theme of the space.

The infused warm and chic vibe at the Coffee Culture is an added fabrication to the highway retreat. The deeply rooted spirit of the city is craftily folded with bare, rustic and naturalist outlook.Therefore rejoicing the culture and identity of the city with a modern but Nordic palette.
